How to Play Captain Planet and the Planeteers
Quick start
Start on Normal and choose any of the four Toxic Zones from the Eco-Alert screen. Each zone holds one captured Planeteer and requires you to shut down pollution machines before destroying its doomsday vehicle. The whole rescue has a 60-minute game clock, so learn a zone rather than repeatedly switching after small mistakes. Use single shots for ordinary enemies and save the Super blast for machines and bosses because both consume ring power. Collect Power Pellets before the meter empties—without power, Super stops working and normal shots slow to one every three seconds. Clear all four zones to reunite the Planeteers and summon Captain Planet against Zarm.
Controls
Move Left or Right with the D-pad, press Down to crouch, and use a down diagonal to crawl. A fires a single Eco-Power Ring shot, B fires a power-hungry multi-shot Super blast, and C jumps; tap C for a short hop or hold it for height. Use a direction with A or B to aim horizontally, upward, or diagonally, including while jumping. Down drops from an overhead pipe, while a down diagonal drops to the chosen side. Start advances text, pauses, and resumes. The Options menu can remap A/B/C, but the default is A Shot, B Super, C Jump.
