How to Play Championship Pool
Quick start
Use Freestyle or the single-player Challenge to learn before entering a Tournament. At the table, hold B and move the D-pad to aim the phantom ball, then release B. Press C to open the Power screen, set strength with Left/Right, and press C to return. Press A to show the phantom-ball path; once the line predicts the contact you want, press A again to shoot. For draw, follow, or a masse attempt, open Start > Set Spin, move the strike point on the cue ball, and raise or lower the cue with C or B.
Controls
D-pad: move menu pointers and adjust the shot. A: select, activate the phantom ball, then shoot. Hold B+D-pad: aim precisely or speed a moving cursor; B also picks up/places a ball and calls a ball and pocket. C: open/close the Power screen; there, Left/Right changes power and holding B enables fine control. Start: open the game and control menus. In Set Spin, the D-pad moves the contact point, C raises the cue, B lowers it, and A exits.
