How to Play Championship Pro-Am
Quick start
Hold A from the start and steer relative to the car’s heading rather than the screen. Finish in the top three to qualify for the next of 24 tracks, but adjust your line to collect acceleration, top-speed, and grip upgrades. Pick up missiles and bombs to stop rivals, then press B or C only when a target is lined up; without a weapon, those buttons sound the horn. Watch for oil slicks, barriers, and speed strips, and collect the letters in CHAMPION whenever the safer racing line allows it because the completed word upgrades the car.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: steer relative to the vehicle’s current direction. A: accelerate. B or C: use the carried weapon; sound the horn when no weapon is held. Start: begin, pause, or resume. Track pickups provide weapons and persistent acceleration, speed, or grip upgrades. A top-three finish advances to the next race.
