How to Play Chester Cheetah: Wild Wild Quest
Quick start
Leave the default Easy difficulty and begin at Euphreaka, which the manual recommends as the easiest opening city. Every regular level contains a map piece: collect it before reaching the GOAL sign, then defeat the boss. Run with Left/Right+B and add A for a long running jump; press Down+A for the Super Jump to reach hidden items, then press Down during the descent when a cracked rock, bridge, or enemy lies below. Chester can only defeat enemies by landing on them, so use the running jump for safer attacks and collect paws to earn bonus chances and continues.
Controls
Default Type A—D-pad Left/Right moves, Down ducks; A or C jumps, climbs from a ledge, and swims upward when tapped; B with Left/Right runs. Left/Right+A jumps in that direction. Left/Right+B+A performs a running jump. Down+A performs a Super Jump; press Down during it to drop and smash. Start: pause. Vehicle sections use Left/Right for reverse/forward and the normal jump button. Four button layouts are available in Options.
