How to Play ClayFighter
Quick start
Choose Game Start, select one of the eight clay fighters, and lower the difficulty in Options if Medium is too demanding. With a three-button pad, A/B/C begin as quick, medium, and brutal kicks; press Start to switch all three to punches. Use quick attacks to interrupt slow wind-ups, hold Away to block high attacks, and hold Down+Away to block low. Learn one character’s projectile or charge move from the move list, then build a clean hit streak: when “KO” flashes, land a non-projectile special move for a Super K.O.
Controls
D-pad: move toward or away, Up jumps, Up+direction flips, Down crouches, Away blocks high, and Down+Away blocks low. Three-button pad—A/B/C are quick, medium, and brutal kicks by default; Start toggles them to quick, medium, and brutal punches. Six-button pad—A/B/C are kicks and X/Y/Z are punches. Start also joins a second player when available. Special moves combine directional motions or charges with an attack button; buttons can be reassigned in Configure.
