How to Play Cliffhanger
Quick start
Use A punches for quick close-range hits and B kicks when you need more reach; jump with C and press B near the top for a flying kick. Avoid letting enemies surround Gabe: A+B performs a spinning sweep but costs health, so reserve it for escapes. B+C blocks ordinary blows, though weapons can still break through. Pick up dropped knives or guns when available and conserve ammunition for armed enemies. Climbing and avalanche stages change the pace, so pause before long jumps and use short, deliberate direction inputs on ropes and cliffs.
Controls
D-pad: move, crouch, climb, and aim movement on traversal stages. A: punch. B: kick; hold for a spinning back kick. C: jump. Jump then B near the top: flying kick. A+B: spinning sweep that costs some health. B+C: block ordinary attacks. Start: begin or pause. Stage-specific sections use the D-pad for cliff, rope, and downhill movement; watch the screen prompts and terrain before committing.
