How to Play Coach K College Basketball
Quick start
Choose an exhibition game and leave fatigue and automatic substitutions enabled while learning the court. Hold A with the D-pad for a turbo drive, pass with B and hold C to shoot, releasing at the top of the jump for better accuracy. Move the ball with quick passes instead of forcing every drive. On defense, B selects the defender nearest the ball, steals happen when you position that defender tightly in front of the dribbler, and C jumps to block or rebound. Call a timeout from the paused menu when the lineup tires.
Controls
The D-pad moves and dribbles. On offense, hold A while moving for Turbo, B passes to the closest receiver, and holding B plus a direction aims at a specific teammate. Hold C to begin a shot and release it near the top of the jump; the T-meter affects free throws. On defense, B takes control of the defender nearest the ball, close positioning triggers steal attempts, and C jumps to contest a shot or take a rebound. Start pauses; while holding Start, A, B or C calls an assigned play.
