How to Play College Football's National Championship
Quick start
Choose Exhibition to learn the playbook before attempting Tournament or League play. Pick one of the three displayed plays with A, B or C, then at the line press A to snap. On a pass, A throws, while B changes the intended receiver; on a run, hold C for a speed burst and tap C to dive after accelerating. Before the snap, use B to mark the primary receiver and C to call an audible. On defense, select the player nearest the developing play and keep enough distance to react rather than sprinting past the ball carrier.
Controls
The D-pad moves the selected player. On the play-call screen, A selects the top play, B the middle play and C the bottom play. Before the snap, A selects the controlled defender, B selects the primary receiver or controlled defender and C signals an audible. During play, A snaps, hands off, throws, pitches, stiff-arms after a catch and spikes after a touchdown. B changes the intended receiver and performs a 360-degree spin after receiving a hand-off or pitch. Hold C for a speed burst; press it once after bursting to dive. Start pauses and opens timeout options.
