Choose one-player mode, then compare each driver’s special weapon before selecting a car. The default controls put brake on A, accelerate on B and the special weapon on C. Brake before sharp bends instead of holding the accelerator throughout, and save limited missiles, mines, oil, glue or smoke for places where rivals cannot easily avoid them. Winning prize money buys engine, tyre and turbo upgrades or more ammunition, so finish cleanly before spending everything on weapons. Two-player team and head-to-head modes change the race format.

The D-pad steers the car. With the default layout, A brakes, B accelerates and C activates the selected driver’s special weapon. Start confirms highlighted menu items and pauses during a race. The Options screen offers six alternative button layouts, so check it before racing if acceleration or braking feels reversed. Weapons depend on the chosen driver and include oil, glue, smoke, mines or missiles; supplies are limited and can be replenished with winnings. Car performance can be improved between races with engine, tyre and turbo upgrades.
