How to Play Dashin' Desperadoes
Quick start
Choose one of the two cowboys and learn the first race by staying on the main route. Build speed with the D-pad, jump before hazards rather than directly over them, and use the attack button to knock the rival back when he draws level. Collect stars and useful items, but do not detour so far that the opponent reaches the goal first. Between races, watch for bonus duels and obstacles that require a high jump or slide instead of raw speed.
Controls
D-pad: run, change elevation, and duck or slide. A: jump. B: attack or use the held trick/item. C: dash or secondary action when available. Start: pause. The exact action layout is shown in Options and can be checked before a race; two-player competition uses one pad per runner.
