How to Play David Crane's Amazing Tennis
Quick start
Begin with an exhibition on a forgiving surface and use the computer-assisted player movement while learning. Start each rally with a safe serve, aim away from the receiver with the D-pad, and choose a flat groundstroke for consistency. Use a lob when the opponent crowds the net and a volley only after moving forward behind a strong approach. The ball shadow and bounce tell you when to swing; pressing too early changes the angle, while a late swing sends the ball toward the opposite side.
Controls
D-pad: position the player and aim the shot. A/B/C: choose the available stroke—normal or flat shot, lob, and context-sensitive serve/volley; hold a direction while swinging to place the ball. Start: begin or pause. Menus set singles or doubles, surface, match length, and player assistance.
