How to Play Deadly Moves
Quick start
Choose a fighter in Arcade and lower the difficulty while learning. Use quick standing attacks to test range, crouch to defend against low strikes, and hold Away to guard high. Do not repeat the strongest attack: faster punches or kicks interrupt slow moves and create openings for a throw at close range. Learn one projectile or charge command from the fighter’s move list, then practise it from both screen directions before relying on it in a tournament.
Controls
D-pad: move, jump, crouch, and block by holding Away or Down+Away. A/B/C: light, medium, and heavy attack functions or punch/kick sets according to the chosen controller configuration; Start toggles the alternate attack set on a three-button pad where required. Close-range direction plus attack performs throws, while character-specific directional sequences trigger special moves. Start: pause.
