How to Play Dick Tracy
Quick start
Keep Tracy moving on the foreground plane and use the pistol on nearby thugs. Watch windows and the distant street: when a gunman appears in the background, stop in cover and use the Tommy gun to aim into that plane before he fires. Jump over crates and pits rather than trading health for speed, collect ammunition before advancing, and save stronger weapon fire for vehicles or clustered enemies. Boss stages reward learning attack timing more than continuous shooting.
Controls
D-pad: move, crouch, climb, and aim. A: punch or fire the foreground pistol according to range. B: jump. C: draw/fire the Tommy gun at background enemies; use the D-pad to aim while it is active. Start: pause. Ammunition displays separately for firearms, and close range changes shooting into a physical attack.
