How to Play Dick Vitale's 'Awesome, Baby!' College Hoops
Quick start
Begin with Exhibition and short halves, then pick a team whose speed and shooting ratings fit your style. On offence, pass before the ball handler is double-teamed and use the shoot button from a set position; drive only when the lane opens. On defence, switch early to the nearest player, stay goal-side, and time steals rather than tapping continuously. Box out beneath the rim before jumping for rebounds, and use time-outs or substitutions when stamina drops.
Controls
D-pad: move the selected player and aim passes. A: pass or switch players on defence. B: shoot, jump, block, or rebound. C: accelerate, steal, or perform the context action shown by the current possession. Start: pause and access coaching options. Team selection, game length, substitutions, and strategy are set through menus.
