How to Play DJ Boy
Quick start
Skate forward, defeat each street group and collect the $20 coins they drop. Kicks have better reach than punches, while the jumping kick is especially useful against bosses; avoid being surrounded by using the double punch. Between rounds, spend money in the shop with survival in mind: a hamburger refills health, skates improve movement, the rocket glove speeds attacks, helmet raises defence, power strengthens hits and the cat grants an extra life. There are six rounds, so buying a full heal before permanent upgrades is safer than entering the next stage with a nearly empty life gauge.
Controls
The D-pad moves DJ Boy on his skates. A punches, B kicks and C jumps. Press A+B together for a double punch that covers both sides; press B after jumping with C for a jumping kick. Start pauses and resumes. In menus, use the D-pad to choose and C to confirm. The kick’s longer reach makes it the main crowd-control strike, while the double punch is weaker but useful when enemies approach from both directions. Shop purchases are automatic upgrades or immediate healing and depend on coins collected from enemies.
