How to Play Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls
Quick start
Choose Story mode and one fighter, then learn the basic high and low attacks before attempting character specials. Hold Away to block, crouch for low defence, and use fast strikes to interrupt a slow heavy attack. Build the Overdrive meter through clean hits, then spend it on a special only when the opponent cannot block. Practise each directional command from both sides because forward and back reverse after a crossover.
Controls
D-pad: walk, jump, crouch, and block by holding Away. A/B/C: light, medium, and heavy punches or kicks according to the selected three-button configuration; Start toggles attack sets where shown. Directional motions plus an attack trigger character specials, and close-range inputs perform throws. Start pauses.
