How to Play Dune: The Battle for Arrakis
Quick start
Choose House Atreides for a forgiving first campaign. Place the Construction Yard, build concrete before expensive structures, then add a Refinery and protect the Harvester. Expand power before the meter falls into the red, scout with cheap units, and attack only after replacing harvesters and creating a mixed force. Use the map to select units in small groups and focus fire on turrets or production buildings instead of chasing every defender.
Controls
D-pad: move the map cursor. A: select unit/building, confirm construction, or issue move/attack orders. B: cancel or deselect. C: open the build/command panel or cycle groups. Start: pause and show options. Refineries convert spice to credits; power plants support structures, and concrete prevents building damage.
