How to Play EA Hockey
Quick start
Choose an Exhibition game and leave penalties on while learning. On offence, pass before a defender closes, shoot from a clear lane, and use speed bursts only to escape pressure. On defence, switch to the nearest skater, angle the attacker toward the boards, then check or poke after the puck moves away from the body. Change lines before fatigue ruins skating speed and shooting accuracy.
Controls
D-pad: skate and aim passes or shots. A: pass or switch players. B: shoot, check, or poke according to possession. C: speed burst and context action. Start: pause and open coaching/line-change options. Hold a shot or pass button to add power where supported.
