How to Play EA Sports Double Header
Quick start
Choose NHL Hockey or John Madden Football from the collection menu. In hockey, start with an exhibition and practise passes, shots, player switching and line changes. In Madden, select a balanced playbook, call short runs or passes first, and learn snap, receiver selection, tackling and kicking before a full season. Each game keeps its original rules and options.
Controls
Collection menu: D-pad selects a title and an action button confirms. NHL Hockey uses D-pad skating, A pass/switch, B shoot/check, C speed/context. John Madden Football uses D-pad movement, C snap/pass selection, A/B for receiver, dive or speed according to play, and Start to pause. Consult each game’s option screen for its configurable layout.
