How to Play ESPN Sunday Night NFL
Quick start
Start with an exhibition and call simple runs until the blocking and snap timing are familiar. On offence, press the snap button, follow blockers with the runner, or bring up receiver icons and pass with the matching button. On defence, switch to the player nearest the ball, contain the outside run, and tackle after closing the angle. Practise punts and field goals before relying on the kick meter late in a game.
Controls
D-pad: move players, select plays, and aim kicks. C: snap and open passing windows. A/B/C: throw to the marked receiver after passing mode begins. A: dive/tackle. B: speed burst or switch defender according to possession. Start: pause. Kicks use the action button to start and stop the power/accuracy meter.
