How to Play Operation Europe: Path to Victory 1939-45

Quick start

Start with a shorter historical scenario and leave detailed rules visible. Inspect each unit's strength, fuel, ammunition and movement range before issuing orders. Use reconnaissance to reveal enemy positions, keep headquarters and supply routes protected, and combine armour, infantry, artillery and air support rather than advancing one unit alone. End the turn only after checking every formation and saving before a major offensive.

Controls

D-pad: move the map cursor and scroll lists. A/C: select a unit, open its command menu, confirm movement, combat, supply or production. B: cancel and return. Start: system menu for save, load, options, and turn status. Commands depend on unit type and include move, attack, wait, transport, supply, air mission and reinforcement.
