How to Play Ex-Mutants
Quick start
Choose Ackroyd for balanced reach and start on the lower difficulty. Advance slowly, strike enemies before they crowd both sides, and use jump attacks against low hazards or elevated platforms. Pick up temporary weapons for dangerous groups but keep distance from explosives. Search upper ledges for health and keys, free captured Ex-Mutants, and approach bosses by learning one attack cycle before committing to a full combination.
Controls
D-pad: walk, crouch, climb and aim. B: punch, kick, or use the held weapon. C: jump. A: special or context action, including weapon use under the selected configuration. Start: pause. Direction plus attack produces low, overhead and aerial strikes; collect keys and character tokens to open routes and rescue teammates.
