How to Play F1: World Championship Edition
Quick start
Begin with a short race, automatic gears and a forgiving car setup. Brake in a straight line before the corner, turn smoothly through the apex, and accelerate only as steering unwinds. Use practice to learn braking markers and pit entry, watch tyre and fuel indicators during longer events, and avoid contact because damaged handling costs more time than a cautious pass. Switch to manual gears after the circuit is familiar.
Controls
This related edition inherits a selectable driving layout: use D-pad Left/Right to steer and check its Control Select screen for accelerator, brake and manual gear-shift assignments. Start pauses. Menus cover driver, circuit, qualifying, transmission and car setup. Exact button placement is the edition-specific item flagged for in-game verification.
