How to Play FIFA International Soccer
Quick start
Start with a Friendly and the default formation. Build attacks with short diagonal passes, sprint only into open space, and shoot after turning toward goal. On defence, switch early to the closest player, contain the dribbler, then tackle when the ball leaves the feet. Practise crosses, headers, throw-ins and set pieces before Tournament play, and keep a defender behind the ball when sending midfielders forward.
Controls
D-pad: move players and aim. A: lob/chip with the ball or slide tackle without it. B: ground pass with the ball or switch/challenge on defence. C: shoot with the ball or speed burst while defending. Start: pause and team options. Hold an action button for more kick power; combinations create shallow lobs, give-and-go passes, headers, volleys and bicycle kicks.
