How to Play Flicky
Quick start
Touch the small Chirps to make them follow, then lead the chain to an exit door. Delivering several at once earns more points, but Tiger and Iggy can scatter the group, so take a safe door when the route becomes crowded. Run into a telephone, flowerpot, cup or bottle to carry it, face an approaching enemy and jump to throw the item straight ahead. Flicky keeps some horizontal momentum after the D-pad is released; tap the direction early when lining up a narrow landing instead of holding it to the edge.
Controls
Left and Right move Flicky, with noticeable momentum; the D-pad also guides the arc while airborne. A, B and C all jump. If Flicky is carrying an item, pressing any of those buttons throws it horizontally in the direction faced while performing the jump, which can remove Tiger or Iggy. Chirps are collected simply by touching them and are delivered by touching an exit door. Start begins and pauses the game. X, Y and Z have no function on a six-button controller, so use whichever of A, B or C makes repeated jumps most comfortable.
