How to Play VS Puyo Puyo Sun
Quick start
Choose Practice when playing alone or connect a second controller for the main versus mode. Move and rotate each falling pair to connect four or more Puyo of one colour. Begin with a simple staircase so one clear drops another colour into place for a two-chain. Garbage Puyo disappear only when an adjacent coloured group clears. Offset incoming garbage with your own clear, then work the resulting Sun Puyo into a chain; a well-timed Sun clear can send a much larger attack back to the opponent.
Controls
Press Left or Right to move the falling pair and Down to quick-drop it. A rotates left and confirms menu choices. B and C rotate right; B also returns from a menu, while C confirms. The rotation assigned to B can be changed in Options. Start begins or pauses play. The main versus game uses controllers in ports 1 and 2; with only port 1 connected, Practice remains available. X, Y and Z are unused.
