Use the opening castle to learn Goliath’s climbing before trying to rush combat. Jump toward a wall with C, hold toward it and press Up to climb; ceilings can be crossed, and holding Up there shields with his wings. Tap B in measured strings for the three-hit claw combo, and use A only when an enemy is close enough to grab. A running B shoulder roll breaks weak doors and walls, while C then A performs a Hawk Dive through fragile floors or onto enemies. Save health by looking for breakable routes instead of trading hits.

The D-pad moves left/right, looks up and crouches; Up climbs while clinging and shields on ceilings, while Down slides along a wall. A throws a nearby enemy, or slams it when held. B claws; two or three taps extend the combo. C jumps, a second tap flaps, and C after a hit adds lift. Run then tap B for a shoulder roll, jump then press A for a Hawk Dive, and press Down-diagonal+B for a crouch kick. Start pauses.
