How to Play Golden Axe
Quick start
Choose Ax Battler, Tyris Flare or Gilius Thunder and begin Arcade mode. Keep moving on both axes, use short attack strings, and save magic for crowds or bosses. Knock down thieves for potions, mount beasts, and combine jump with attack for a downward strike.
Controls
D-pad: move in eight directions; tap left/right twice to run. A: magic. B: attack, pick up items or mount a beast. C: jump. B+C: special attack. Jump then B: downward slash. Start: pause.
