How to Play Gunstar Heroes

Quick start

Choose Free Shot to run while firing or Fixed Shot for precise standing aim, then select a weapon. Pick up a second weapon to combine both properties. Keep moving, use close-range throws when rushed, and block when a boss pattern leaves no safe route.

Controls

D-pad: move, crouch and aim. A: cycle weapon. B: fire; at close range, grab or throw. C: jump. Hold C then press B, or press B+C, to block. Start: pause. Two collected weapons combine into a new shot.
