How to Play Hellfire

Quick start

Select a difficulty and start with the forward shot. Fire continuously while watching for enemies that enter from behind, above, or below. Tap the direction-change button early to cycle through forward, rear, vertical, and diagonal fire; the current weapon colour shows which pattern is active. Collect power-ups, but keep enough room to dodge before changing patterns.

Controls

D-pad: move the CNCS1. A: fire. B: cycle the shot direction through forward, rear, vertical, and four diagonals. C: use the Hellfire/Hyper Cannon where available. Start: begin or pause. Shot direction can be changed while firing.
