How to Play Insector X
Quick start
Start with the basic shot and stay near the left side until you learn each insect wave. Fire continuously, collect weapon and speed upgrades, and move only far enough to create a safe lane through bullets. Use the stronger secondary attack against dense formations or bosses, and do not chase a power-up into the edge of the screen. Learn each boss pattern before committing to the centre.
Controls
D-pad: move the flying character in eight directions. B: primary fire. A: secondary weapon or special attack. C: rapid-fire/shot function. Start: begin or pause. Collect weapon upgrades and keep firing lanes open rather than staying directly in front of large enemies.
