How to Play Joe Montana II: Sports Talk Football
Quick start
Choose a preseason or regular-season game, set the teams and play-call mode, then pick a formation and play before the clock expires. On offense, mix runs and passes and watch the receiver windows after the snap. On defense, choose a formation that matches the situation, switch to the closest defender, and tackle the ball carrier. Time punts and field goals with the moving kick meter.
Controls
D-pad: choose formations and plays; move the controlled player after the snap. Before an offensive snap, C snaps the ball and B can use a fake count. During a pass, use A, B, or C for the matching receiver window. On defense, B switches the controlled player, while A/C perform context actions such as diving or jumping. On kicks, A starts and stops the kick meter. Start pauses.
