Start with one player and keep the default Speed, Jump, and Special layout. Move carefully until you find a helmet: each form changes your size or abilities, and C activates powers such as Maniaxe’s thrown axes, Juggernaut’s skull bombs, EyeClops’ hidden-block vision, or Cyclone’s flight. Hold B for a higher jump, stomp enemies from above, and use A while moving before B for a long running jump. Save Diamonds instead of spending them immediately; when a form has enough for its Diamond Power, press A+Start together.

D-pad: move Left/Right, look Up, crouch Down, and crawl with Down+Left/Right. A: speed up while held. B: jump; tap for a short jump, hold briefly for a higher leap, and press again near a ledge to flip onto it. Direction+A then B performs a running high jump. C: use the current helmet form’s special power. A+Start: activate a Diamond Power when enough Diamonds are held. Start: open the pause menu. Speed, Jump, and Special can be reassigned in Options.
