How to Play King Salmon: The Big Catch
Quick start
Choose Leisure to practise or enter a tournament, then select a fishing area and lure. Cast toward promising water, vary the retrieve until a salmon strikes, set the hook, and reel without letting line tension stay too high. Give a strong fish room to run, then recover line when it tires.
Controls
D-pad: choose tackle and casting direction, steer the boat or lure, and control the rod during a fight. Face buttons perform casting, reeling, hook-setting, and menu confirmation according to the current fishing screen. Start pauses. Watch the line-tension display: stop reeling or lower the rod before the line reaches its breaking point.
