How to Play King's Bounty: The Conqueror's Quest
Quick start
Choose a class, recruit troops in towns and castles, and explore the four continents for villains and map pieces. Move deliberately because the Genesis overworld runs in real time, and keep weekly wages and unit morale in mind before hiring. In battle, protect ranged troops, use terrain and spells, and capture wanted villains to reveal the sceptre’s location before the time limit expires.
Controls
D-pad: move the hero on the world map, move the cursor in menus, and choose a unit’s destination in combat. A: confirm, interact, or move the selected army stack. B: cancel or open the context command. C: open the main command or information menu. Start pauses the real-time overworld and accesses status. Follow battle prompts for attack, wait, fly, or cast spell.
