How to Play The Story of Thor
Quick start
Press Start to open the Diary, choose a blank slot, enter a three-letter name, and begin Prince Ali’s return to Oasis. Speak to villagers with B and follow their clues towards the Water Spirit’s temple; normal weapons can break, so save stronger swords, bows, and bombs for obstacles or tougher enemies. B handles conversation and dagger attacks, while double-tapping a direction makes Ali run. After the Gold Armlet gains the Light Ball, face an elemental source and press A—for example, fire it into water to summon Dytto—then use the spirit’s tap, double-tap, or charged magic to solve the area.
Controls
D-pad: move and navigate; double-tap and hold a direction to run. B: confirm, talk, and attack—tap for a jab, repeat for a combo, or hold and release for a sweeping slash. C: jump; hold to crouch. C + B: jump kick; hold C + B for a crouching slash. A: fire the Light Ball at water, fire, shadow, or plants to summon a spirit, then activate that spirit’s magic. A + B + C: dismiss the active spirit. Start: pause and open or close Options. Six-button pads add X for Map, Y for Weapons, and Z for Items.
