How to Play Landstalker

Quick start

Talk to everyone in Massan, buy basic supplies and save at the church before leaving town. In the field, line Nigel up carefully on the isometric diagonals, inspect chests and walls, and use jumps to test ledges before committing. Keep EkeEke healing items ready, check the inventory when puzzles require a specific object, and return to towns for clues rather than forcing an unclear route.

Controls

D-pad: move Nigel diagonally, climb ladders or vines, direct jumps and move through menus. A: sword attack, talk, open chests, pick up or place objects, and confirm. B: jump, cancel or answer No. C: same action/confirm functions as A. Start: open the inventory. Jump direction can be adjusted while airborne.
