How to Play Lemmings 2: The Tribes

Quick start

Choose a tribe and inspect the whole level before assigning a skill. Lemmings 2 offers many specialised actions, so test unfamiliar icons near safe ground and keep several lemmings alive for later stages. Control the crowd with blockers or terrain changes, then build, jump, fly or dig toward the exit. Saving more members preserves the tribe and helps recover its gold talisman piece.

Controls

D-pad: move the cursor. A plus Left/Right: scroll the level. B plus Left/Right: cycle through available skills. C: assign the chosen skill to the lemming under the cursor. Start: pause. Menus also let you inspect the tribe map and skill inventory; each level supplies a limited selection from the expanded skill set.
