How to Play Madden NFL 96
Quick start
Start with a quick Exhibition and keep play calling simple. Use motion and short throws to see how the defence reacts, then attack open lanes with the run. On defence, control a nearby player before the snap, guard the edge, and switch only when the ball commits to a runner or receiver.
Controls
D-pad: select formations and move the active player. A/B/C choose plays and the matching receiver windows; tap or hold the receiver button to vary the throw. During runs and returns, the face buttons trigger contextual power, spin, dive, or hurdle moves; on defence they switch players, tackle, or attempt a jump. Start: pause and access options.
