How to Play Mario Andretti Racing
Quick start
Start with a Single Race, automatic transmission, Rookie weather, and Chase view. Choose Indy, stock, or sprint cars, qualify to improve the grid position, then accelerate as the field launches and brake before the corner rather than inside it. Once comfortable, begin a Circuit and upgrade the car between events.
Controls
Default layout A: D-pad left/right steers and up/down shifts in manual mode; A brakes; B accelerates; C changes the upper view in one-player races; Start pauses. The Options screen provides several alternate accelerate, brake, and shift layouts. In replay, hold A to rewind, B to play, and C to fast-forward.
