How to Play Math Blaster: Episode 1
Quick start
Set the mathematics difficulty and choose a control layout, then begin with Trash Zapper. Solve the equation first and shoot the piece of space junk carrying the correct answer; ten correct equations advance to the bonus round. Later platform and final-battle stages mix arithmetic with movement, thrust, shields, and shooting.
Controls
D-pad: move the targeting cursor or Blasternaut in the current stage. Face buttons fire, thrust, jump, and activate the shield according to the selected control configuration; Genesis keeps thrust and shield on separate buttons. Start pauses. Check Select Controls in Options before starting, because three layouts are available.
