How to Play Midnight Resistance
Quick start
Move forward while collecting keys dropped by marked enemies. Keep B held to lock your firing direction when using a B-type control mode, letting you retreat or jump without losing aim. Spend keys at the end-of-stage shop on a strong main weapon and a useful backpack item, then conserve ammunition for armoured targets. Rescue every family member and use poles or platforms to control enemy angles.
Controls
D-pad: move, crouch and aim. A: jump in the default layout. C: fire. B: direct or lock firing direction in Control Modes B1–B3; Control Mode A uses directional aiming differently. Start: pause. A/B/C functions can vary with the selected control mode, so check Options before play.
