How to Play Mike Ditka Power Football
Quick start
Start with Practice or an Exhibition and use a simple offensive playbook. Read the defence before the snap, run when the box is light and pass only after a receiver separates. B throws to the selected receiver; hold the D-pad toward the intended route to lead the pass. On defence, switch to the nearest useful player, contain the ball carrier and avoid diving out of position. Learn play calling before trying weather or league options.
Controls
D-pad: select formations and plays, move the controlled player and direct passes. A/B/C choose the labelled play or receiver; during passing, B throws and the D-pad leads the receiver. On defence, action buttons switch players, tackle or dive according to context. Start: snap/start or pause. The bottom-of-screen labels identify the active receiver and action.
