How to Play MLBPA Baseball
Quick start
Start with an Exhibition game and leave most options at their defaults. At bat, watch the pitch and commit to a full swing only when it enters the zone; bunt to move runners. On defence, position the nearest fielder early, use diving catches sparingly, and throw to the lead base to stop advancing runners.
Controls
Pitching: D-pad positions the pitcher; C throws, with a direction selecting fastball, sinker, or curve; B plus a direction makes a pick-off throw. Batting: D-pad positions the batter, hold C for a full swing, tap C for a check swing, hold A to bunt. Fielding: D-pad moves, C jumps/dives and throws to bases with a direction, B changes fielder or runs down a base. Start: pause.
