How to Play Madden NFL '94
Quick start
Begin with an Exhibition and use Direct play calling until the formations become familiar. On offence, read the defence before the snap, throw to the receiver shown by the matching A, B, or C window, and mix runs with short passes. On defence, switch early to the nearest player and avoid diving until the carrier commits.
Controls
D-pad: select plays and move the controlled player. Offence: A/B/C select the matching play or receiver; tap for a lob and hold for a bullet pass. With the ball, A dives, tap B gives an 'umph' move, hold B spins, and C hurdles. After a pass, B switches to the receiver, A dives, and C reaches. Start: pause and open game options.
