How to Play NFL Sports Talk Football '93 Starring Joe Montana
Quick start
Choose an exhibition or league game, set teams, time, difficulty, and play-calling style, then start with the kickoff. On offense, select an A, B, or C play, use audibles when the defense shows a bad matchup, and vary runs with cursor or receiver-based passing. On defense, switch to the closest defender after the snap and time dives instead of overcommitting.
Controls
D-pad: move the controlled player; it also aims kicks and the passing cursor. A starts/stops the kick meter, snaps and passes as quarterback, stiff-arms as runner, and changes defender before the snap. B calls an audible, selects a receiver or moves the pass cursor, spins as runner, and switches to the nearest defender after the snap. C switches the returner before a kick and dives or jumps during play. A/B/C also choose the matching play. Start opens pause.
