How to Play NHL 95
Quick start
Begin with an Exhibition game and automatic line changes. Pass before defenders close, use a short burst to create space, and shoot only when the lane to goal is open. On defence, switch to the nearest skater, angle the puck carrier toward the boards, then check or poke after closing the gap. Watch fatigue, avoid repeated penalties, and use manual line changes once a unit loses speed.
Controls
D-pad: skate and aim passes or shots. A: dump or lob the puck and perform the assigned defensive restraint. B: pass on offence and switch skater on defence. C: shoot on offence and body-check or speed burst without the puck. Start: pause and open coaching options. Hold C to build shot power; line-change and goalie settings are available through the game options.
