How to Play NHLPA Hockey '93
Quick start
Select regular season or playoff play, choose one-player, teammates, or head-to-head control, and set period length and rules. Win faceoffs with B and a direction, pass before defenders close, hold C for stronger shots, and change lines as stamina falls. On defense, switch quickly and use body checks carefully when penalties are enabled.
Controls
D-pad: skate and aim passes. Offense: A opens line changes, B passes, C takes a wrist shot and can be held for a harder shot. Defense: A hooks, B body-punches or changes player, C head-punches or gives a speed burst/body check. Faceoff: B plus a direction. Goalie with puck: B passes; the D-pad aims. A/B/C choose lines from the line-change display. Start pauses and opens the scoreboard.
