How to Play Pelé!
Quick start
Choose Practice, Exhibition, Tournament, or a 40-game Season, then select one of 40 national teams and set formation and rules. Build attacks with passes and chips, time shots before the goalkeeper closes the angle, and use practice mode to learn aerial headers and bicycle kicks. On defense, switch first and tackle only when positioned beside the ball.
Controls
D-pad: move the selected player, aim, and navigate menus. The action buttons provide chip, shot, and pass on offense; on defense they check, tackle, and switch to the nearest player. With the ball airborne they trigger a header or bicycle kick. Start pauses. Sources confirm the action set but not the exact Genesis A/B/C order, so verify it in Practice.
