How to Play Phantasy Star IV
Quick start
Join Chaz, Alys, Hahn, and their allies to investigate biomonsters and planetary disasters across Motavia, Dezolis, and the Algo system. Talk to everyone, update equipment in each town, inspect techniques and limited-use skills, and save before long dungeons. Build Macros for reliable command sequences and experiment with character order to trigger combination attacks.
Controls
D-pad: move and select. C confirms, talks, searches, and opens doors. B cancels or returns. A opens the main menu. In battle, A switches between command sets where shown, B cancels, and C confirms; use Macros to execute saved party commands in order. Start pauses or opens the system menu in supported reissues. Vehicles use the same movement and menu controls.
